Barbara studied Architecture in the Masterclass of celebrated Architect Prof. Hans Hollein at the Academy of Applied Arts ( Hochschule fuer Angewandte Kunst) in Vienna and transferred to take up Film at New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts.

She has produced and directed "The 28th Instance of June 1914, 10:50 a.m.- a portrait of two modern artists: McDermott&McGough" that garnered many awards, amongst them the grand jury prize message to man (Golden Gate Award) at the San Francisco Intl. Film Festival, the Golden Centaur (Message to Man Award) Grand Jury Prize of the St. Petersburg Intl. Filmfestival, a Student Academy Award. It has been acquired into the permanent collection of the Hirshhorn Museum Washington D.C. and was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, the National Arts Club, Maison Européene de la Photographie in Paris. It was rated of special value and is kept as a national heritage in the German Film Archives/Film Museum Munich.


Barbara  has directed and produced lots of award-winning documentaries, commercials, and films. She has been teaching at the University Level, in the film department of the prestigious University of the Philippines, Diliman. She also curated exhibitions.
Currently, she is developing three feature film projects, a thriller, a film adaptation of a bestseller, and a documentary.
